George Lynn completed his 22nd year of coaching youth softball in 2009 and has worked with the Junior Olympic Amateur Softball Association of America since 1995. In 2008 and 2009 he surpassed both 600 and 700 wins respectively, and was honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for both ASA Travel Softball milestones. In addition, George was the head softball coach at Shadle Park High School for 10 years where he set a GSL record with a 77 game winning streak. In 2008, he was honored by the Washington State Coaches Association for his 200th career win. George has dedicated his life to the athletic development of young athletes and has helped over 70 athletes obtain college scholarships. The Spokane Sliders Fastpitch Softball program has made ten appearances at ASA Nationals.
